Roof repair in Llangollen

This client was having persistent problems getting his roof repaired properly.

Already three roofing contractors had tried and failed to fix his leaking roof. All charged him for the repairs but none fixed the problem.

M E Contractors to the rescue!

We properly diagnosed the problem which was at the junctions of the roof apexes and set to work selectively replacing rotten joists, kick-boards,re-forming the valleys and fixing damaged slates.

We installed GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) Valley Troughs at each junction of the roof to provide a neat and effective rain seal.

We bought our house and discovered many problems with the roof. Several roofers offered different opinions and quotes but ME Contractors were the ones that came through with a practical solution at an affordable price, turned up quickly as the roof was leaking, and provided an insurance backed guarantee. I could have got it done cheaper but wouldn't have had the reassurance of the insurance guarantee and without all of the positive reviews and recommendations here on Google. When they removed the old roof they found additional problems which cost them more money to repair but Mark stuck to the original quote which shows a great deal of integrity. Conservatory re-roof

A poorly constructed conservatory roof leaked almost from day one. The junction where the conservatory roof intersected with the roof of the bungalow had not been thought-out properly.

M E Contractors were called in to put things right - and at the same time add much-needed thermal insulation so that the conservatory was habitable even on cold days.

The old plastic roof was replaced with a lightweight but sturdy timber frame with added thermal insulating panels. The ceiling of the new roof was then plaster finished like a normal room.
